“ONsite Project” is an artistic collective based in Nicosia, Cyprus, established in 2021 by Aristi Pavlou and Ioanna Papamichalopoulou. “ONsite project" experiments with how the performing arts can be transported to site-specific locations and other locations in general - instead of the conventional theatrical scene. Hence, they are experimenting with alternative performance forms and locations, such as audio walks and immersive installations. 

With backgrounds in Architecture, Scenography, Psychology and Theatre, “ONsite Project” investigates how space and site itself can become performative through narrative and storytelling. Furthermore, the collective’s work aims to achieve the spectator’s immersion through the conveyance of feelings and situations with the help of dramaturgy and performativity. “ONsite project” aims to bring other interdisciplinary artists on board to create a platform of conversation and experimentation in the local performing arts field.
